Dead Men and Broken Hearts (Lennox): Lennox 4

Dead Men and Broken Hearts (Lennox): Lennox 4

by Craig Russell (Author)

Synopsis

Investigator Lennox just can't stay out of trouble. Lennox is looking for legitimate cases - anything's better than working for the Three Kings, the crime bosses who run Glasgow's underworld. So when a woman comes into his office and hires him to follow her husband, it seems the perfect case. And, unusually for Lennox, it's legal. But this isn't a simple case of marital infidelity. When the people he's following start to track him, once more Lennox must draw on the violent, war-damaged part of his personality as he follows this trail of dead men and broken hearts.

Media Reviews
'A masterful blend of grit and gangsters overlaid with humour that's sharper than a 50s flick-knife on the streets of this mean city' Daily Record. * Daily Record *
'Craig Russell is really something special, offering both an energy and acute sense of period with a marked sense of atmosphere; the evocation of 1950s Glasgow here is immensely vivid' Good Book Guide. * Good Book Guide *
'Craig Russell's best yet ... from page one this book laid its grip around my interest and only let go when the final page was turned ... a brilliant addition to an excellent series that is getting seriously addictive with every instalment' Crimesquad. * Crimesquad *
