Avy Joseph, UK, (www.city-minds.com) is a Director and Co- founder of the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CCBT) and City Minds. He is a registered and accredited CBT therapist with the AREBT and the BABCP and runs a busy clinic in central London.
He gained a Master's degree in Rational-Emotive Behavioural Therapy, one of the main schools of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2001. He graduated with a degree in mathematics, after which he qualified as a counsellor and then worked in the private sector for many years in training and development. He has lectured both nationally and internationally.
Over the years he has developed many workshops and courses that have culminated in the development of specialist courses at the CCBT.
Avy believes everyone has the potential to make positive changes in their lives for more effective and emotionally healthy living. He is a Fellow of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and is accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.
