Author Bio
Born 1954 in Kingston Jamaica, Alex Maunder ran a vegetarian restaurant in Copenhagen before qualifying as an Alexander Technique Teacher with Yehuda Kuperman in Basel, Switzerland (1985 - 1988). A full-time teaching member of The Society of Teachers of the A. T. since 1988, he has lectured at Middlesex University on the A.T., trained in other mind/body therapies like Gestalt psychotherapy and written an earlier book The Alexander Technique and The Principles of Self-Transformation (1993).
