Author Bio
Marthe Kiley-Worthington is an internationally renowned ethologist who has been researching the behaviour, welfare and training of horses for the last twenty-five years. Raised in Kenya, she completed her BSc in England, then returned to Africa to carry out wildlife research and establish a farm and stud. Returning to Britain again, she completed her doctorate on communication in hoofed animals, canines and felids in 1969 at the University of Sussex. The author lectures, demonstrates and teaches people throughout the world and runs an animal behaviour consultancy. She trains and rides high school, dressage, draught, liberty and international long-distance horses.
