Visions of Eventing will captivate everyone with an interest in competitive sports at any level. Elizabeth Furth was born in Austria and came to England in 1985 to pursue a career in photography after a back injury forced her to give up riding. Since then she has travelled the world photographing events and on special assignments for prestigious publications such as Horse & Hound, Horse International, Show Jumping, Dressage, Riding, Eventing, The Field, Reiter Revue (Germany), Pferde Revue (Austria), L'Eperon (France) Kavallo (Switzerland), Lo Sperone (Italy), and The Horse Magazine (Australia). Her work is used extensively to illustrate books and for public relations, advertising and television purposes. Fluent in both French and German, she also acts as commentator and voice-over artist for television and video. Elizabeth Furth's photographs are widely regarded as some of the finest in equestrian sport. The distinctive quality of her work is due to exquisite timing and a natural ability to portray the horse in action, as well as being able to capture a mood or the atmosphere of a grand occasion.
