Author Bio
Charles Heyman is a former service officer and lecturer in the Defence Studies at the Royal Air Force College, Cranwell. Charles is now a freelance author and defence consultant who has advised a number of multinational defence companies and European Ministires of Defence. He is also the author of Armed Forces of the UK. He is frequently been called upon to give interviews regarding the British military involvement in Afghanistan and elsewhere.
