Media Reviews
Gripping, informative, hard-hitting. The incredible voices of American, North and South Korean, and Communist Chinese soldiers give the book a richness seldom found in war books. - Col. David H. Hackworth, author of Steel My Soldiers' Hearts and The Price of Honor The personal accounts offer a keen insight into the camaraderie, suffering, hardship, and even humor from both sides of the war. They hit as hard as a massed infantry attack and vividly portray the brutality of war. - On Point Renders a balanced snapshot of the Korean War and its associated horrors.... Highly recommended. - Choice
