His work in that publication as well as The New York Times, Gourmet, and other magazines has established him as one of the most authoritative and creative of food writers in the United States. A frequent commentator on radio and television, he lives in Boston. Susie Cushner is a photographer who lives and works in Boston. Her images have appeared in many publications such as Gourmet, Real Simple, and Martha Stewart Living. Her previous books include the Martha's Vineyard Table and The Best Bake Sale Ever Cookbook, both published by Chronicle Books.
