Author Bio
GERALD ASHER was born in the United Kingdom and now divides his time between San Francisco and Paris. An international wine merchant for four decades, he contributes the monthly Wine Journal to Gourmet magazine, where he has been wine editor for more than 30 years. He is the author of a previous collection of essays on wine, Vineyard Tales.
