MICHELE BORBA,,Ed.D., is a former classroom teacher and an internationally recognized educational consultant in strengthening children's self--esteem, achievement, and motivation. She is the author of numerous publications including Esteem Builders, read by over 1,500,000 students worldwide. Borba has received numerous awards including the National Educator Award by the National Council of Self--Esteem. She is the mother of three teenage sons.
