Author Bio
Ernest T. Pascarella is the Mary Louise Petersen Professor of Higher Education at the University of Iowa. He has received numerous awards for his research from national professional and scholarly associations. In 2003 he received the Howard R. Bowen Distinguished Career Award from the Association for the Study of Higher Education. Patrick T. Terenzini is distinguished professor and senior scientist in the Center for the Study of Higher Education at The Pennsylvania State University. He has received research awards from the Association for the Study of Higher Education, the Association for Institutional Research, the American Society for Engineering Education, the American College Personnel Association, and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
