Author Bio
About the Author Deke McClelland is a contributing editor for Macworld and Publish magazines. He has authored more than 50 books on electronic publishing and the Macintosh computer, and his work has been translated into more than 20 languages. He started his career as artistic director at the first service bureau in the United States. Deke won a Society of Technical Communication Award in 1994, an American Society for Business Press Editors Award in 1995, and the Ben Franklin Award for Best Computer Book in 1989. He is also a five-time recipient of the prestigious Computer Press Award. Deke is the author of the following books published by IDG Books Worldwide, Inc.: Macworld Photoshop 5 Bible, Photoshop 5 for Windows Bible, Web Design Studio Secrets, and Photoshop Studio Secrets, 2nd Edition. He is also the author of Real World Illustrator 8 and Real World Digital Photography from Peachpit Press. The first edition of Photoshop Studio Secrets won the Computer Press Award for the best advanced how-to book of 1997.
