Author Bio

Mary-Ann Ochota is an anthropologist, broadcaster and writer.

She's part of the presenting team for Britain's Secret Treasures, revealing the secret stories behind these compelling artefacts. She has an MA in Archaeology and Anthropology from Cambridge University, and makes programmes exploring subjects as diverse as feral children, Roman bread, and beards.

She lives in London with her husband, children's author Joe Craig and their rescue dog, Harpo. She's a keen sailor, hiker, horserider and divemaster.
