More Than Love Letters

More Than Love Letters

by RosyThornton (Author)

Synopsis

' I am writing to you as my constituency MP to express my concern about!' When Richard Slater receives a letter of complaint from one of his constituents, a Margaret Hayton, he merely responds with his standard letter of empty promises. Clearly, this woman is insane and must be avoided at all costs. But she will not be dismissed so easily, and when Richard finally sets eyes on the 'twenty-something vision in stone-washed denim, with a cloud of dark ringlets and huge, serious eyes' he risks losing his heart, his head and quite possibly his political career.

Author Bio
Rosy Thornton grew up in Ipswich and studied law at Cambridge University. She stayed on to do a Ph.D. and has been a lecturer there ever since. In 1996, she was awarded the Cambridge University Pilkington Teaching Prize. Following the BBC's adaptation of North and South, Rosy Thornton decided to try her hand at writing fiction. The result is this marvellously accomplished first novel. Rosy lives in a village near Cambridge with her husband, their two daughters and a springer spaniel called Treacle.
