Author Bio
Ashley Cole made his debut for Arsenal in November 1999 against Middlesbrough in the League Cup. He signed as a professional the following February. Since then he has gone on to make the leftback position his own and has made over 200 appearances for the Gunners, scoring nine goals. In his career to date he has won the Premiership twice and the FA Cup on three occasions. Cole was selected in Sven-Goran Eriksson's first England squad and made his debut against Albania in March 2001. He played in all England's games in the 2002 World Cup and in Euro 2004 he was named in the All-Star Squad. He has 44 caps.
