Honeymoon

by James Patterson (Author), Howard Roughan (Author)

Synopsis

When FBI agent John O'Hara first meets Nora Sinclair, she seems perfect. She has the career. The charisma. The tantalising sex appeal. The whole extraordinary package - Nora doesn't attract men, she enthrals them. She's worked hard for this life and she will never give it up.

But why is the FBI so interested in Miss Sinclair? Mysterious things keep happening to the men in her life. And when Agent O'Hara looks more closely he sees something dangerous in Nora - something that lures him at the same time as it fills him with fear.

And the more time he spends with her the less he knows whether he is pursuing justice or his own fatal obsession.

Media Reviews
This story has elements of Hitchcock's Vertigo, and its page-turning quality is in a class of its own * Independent *
'Honeymoon is all pacy, sexy, high-octane stuff, refreshingly free of the cruelty that often dominates his plots' Guardian, 19 February 2005 * Guardian *
'HONEYMOON...has all the familiar traits: satisfyingly tortuous plotting, and a narrative trajectory that never pauses for breath. Agent O'Hara is drawn with economical skill, as is his sexual obsession with the bewitching Nora Sinclair. This story has elements of Hitchcock's Vertigo, and its page-turning quality is in a class of its own' Independent, 12/2/05 * Independent *
O'Hara and particularly Nora stand as two of Patterson's most complex characters yet * Publishers Weekly *
'This author knows precisely how to manipulate his readers' Independent, 12/2/05 * Independent *
'O'Hara and particularly Nora stand as two of Patterson's most complex characters yet... This is one canny thriller and Patterson's millions of fans will be most pleased' Publishers Weekly, 31/1/05 * Publishers Weekly *
