Author Bio
Debby Sly has been involved in equestrianism and journalism since graduating from Harper Adams Agricultural College. She worked first as production editor for What s New in Farming, before taking over the editorship of Pony Club Magazine. For many years Debby was a regular contributor to Eventing and Your Horse magazines, and has also written many equestrian books, including Mary Thompson s Eventing Year, Badminton Horse Trials the Triumphs and the Tears, and Fun with Ponies. With her husband, Martin Ewing, she owned and trained the four-star event horse Stormhill Kossack, as well as enjoying Point to Point and Hunter Chase successes. Now based in County Wexford, Ireland, Debby continues to train young event and race horses. Sarah Muir has ridden all her life and is a keen follower of equestrian sports. She was assistant editor of Horse and Rider magazine, where she wrote on a wide variety of subjects. Judith Draper was an equestrian writer and book editor who was involved with horses all her life. After several seasons working in flat racing and National Hunt stables, she took up journalism and joined Riding magazine. Kit Houghton is an equestrian photo-journalist who has been taking photographs of horses and major horse events worldwide for the last 30 years. His work has appeared in many major horse magazines and books.
