Author Bio
David Alderton is an internationally best-selling authority on pets and their care. His books have currently sold over four million copies worldwide, and they are now available in twenty-five languages. David is the former chairman of the National Council for Aviculture, and has been breeding and keeping birds for over 30 years. Alan Edwards has been a judge for 23 years with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy in the United Kingdom, and has been a frequent International Judge in Europe, and International Guest Judge with the Cat Fancier's Federation in the United States. He breeds British and Oriental Shorthairs, and has held the prefix Taliesin for more than 30 years. Dr Peter Larkin qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 1953, and was later awarded the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine by thesis from the University of Berne. He was a contributing author to Encyclopedia of the Dog and International Encyclopedia of Dogs and has judged dogs all over the world. Mike Stockman, MRCVS, qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1949 and has been actively involved with dogs all his life. He has served as President of the British Veterinary Association and as Chairman of the Crufts organizing sub-committee.
