Synopsis

As well as a huge choice of routines designed to be done alone, there are also others to enjoy with a partner, a friend - and ultimately with your newborn baby. The practices cover conception, the three trimesters, the birth (including water birth), postnatal yoga and those for mother and child. The title is suitable for complete beginners and for women wanting to adapt their yoga practice. It should also help you to regain your shape with postnatal poses that tone and shape your body. This is a book not just for women who wish to keep themselves in top physical shape, but also for those who want to savour and enjoy every moment of the extraordinary experience of birth and motherhood.
