Author Bio
Dr Peter Larkin, MRCVS qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 1953, and was later awarded the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine by thesis from the University of Berne. He has also been the veterinary correspondent to Our Dogs magazine. Peter has judged dogs all over the world. He is a member of the Kennel Club, serving on its Scientific Committee, is Chairman of the Bull Terrier Club and Vice-President of Southern Countries (UK) Canine Association. Mike Stockman, MRCVS, qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1949 and has been actively involved with dogs all his life. He has served as President of the British Veterinary Association and as Chairman of the Crufts organising subcommittee. Now retired from general practice, Mike judges dogs at the highest levels of competition both at home and abroad. He contributes regularly to veterinary journals and has been a BBC television commentator at Crufts.
