Author Bio
Colin Garratt, a world-renowned authority and author on locomotives, has also been a professional railway photographer since 1969. His principal work has been to document the last steam locomotives of the world and he has made expeditions to some 50 countries, embracing all continents. He is a director of Milepost 92-1/2, the multimedia production company for the railway industry. He has written and illustrated over 40 books on steam and rail.
