He is author or editor of more than 300 books, papers and articles focusing on volcano instability and monitoring, volcanic hazards, natural hazards and environmental change, climate change and global geophysical events. Lyn Stone produces delightful and informative line drawings on a variety of subjects. She was formerly a curator at the Tower of London.
