Author Bio
Deborah Chancellor has written dozens of non-fiction titles for young children, from atlases through a wide range of science topics including titles in the Discover Science series. She trained as a primary school teacher before becoming an editor and writer. She lives in Essex. Deborah Murrell has worked in publishing for many years, as an editor, manager and multimedia producer. She has also written and collaborated on more than twenty books both for children and adults, including Things That Go and My Best Book of Ancient Rome. Philip Steele is an experienced author and editor who has been writing books for children and adults on a wide range of topics, including history, geography and cultural themes, for over 20 years. He is the author of educational books such as Kingfisher Readers: Arctic and Antarctic (Level 4: Reading Alone). He lives in North Wales, United Kingdom. Barbara Taylor has won numerous awards including the American Association of Physics Science Writing Award and the Geographical Association Gold Award. She is the author of many educational books, including several in teh Discover Science series.
