Author Bio
Saviour Pirotta has written over 60 fiction and non-fiction books for children and his works have been translated into ten languages. He has a special interest in myths and traditional legends from arond the world. He was born in Malta and is a trained chef. He is the author of Kingfisher's Aesop's Fables (2005), illustrated by Richard Johnson. Richard Johnson graduated from Loughborough University School of Art and Design in 1999 and has been working as an illustrator ever since. Presented with the Silver Award for children's book illustration in Images 26, Richard has illustrated picture books for Chrysalis, Templar, OUP, Lion and HarperCollins, and collaborated with Saviour Pirotta for Kingfisher on Aesop's Fables (2005).
