Woof!: A Guide to Understanding Your Dog

by Caroline Heens (Author)

Synopsis

Looking after a dog can be hard work! This book is a fantastic guide for dog-owners and dog-lovers. It uses hilarious artwork and humorous text to demonstrate the needs of a dog and the duties of a dog-owner. From food to fun, from walks to bathtime, Woof! is a complete portrait of the likes and dislikes of man's best friend. With flaps and pop-ups, there's plenty to interest young readers, while vocabulary lists and interesting doggy facts help them to learn about canine behaviour. When they've finished reading, children can make a model of Rover (with wagging tail) and take a spot-the-difference challenge. This brilliantly entertaining book will be a favourite with dog-lovers young and old.
