Author Bio
Ann Pilling is the award-winning author of many novels for children including Stan, The Big Pink, and the modern classic Henry's Leg. She has also written short stories for children, including The Donkey's Day Out, a modern picture book about Christ's triumphant ride into Jerusalem. Her other collaborations with Kady MacDonald Denton include The Kingfisher Treasury of Bible Stories, Poems and Prayers for Bedtime and The Kingfisher Book of Myths and Legends. Ann Pilling lives in Oxford with her husband and family. Kady MacDonald Denton is the author and illustrator of Kingfisher's A Child's Treasury of Nursery Rhymes which received Canada's prestigious Governor General's Award, and is also the illustrator of In the Light of the Moon, Sam McBratney's sparkling bedtime story collection (Kingfisher). She is also the creator of several picture books, including Kingfisher's Would They Love a Lion? She lives in Manitoba, Canada.
