  In 1290 BC, the gods reward the pharaoh with a Golden Ankh complete with magical powers. But Imhotep steals it before murdering the pharaoh and being mummified himself. His loyal priests hide the Ankh in preparation for Imhotep's return. In Treasure Hunt, the O'Connell family follow a trail of clues, little knowing that they were left for Imhotep. The reader has to solve the clues and puzzles to reach the Ankh before the evil Imhotep finds it and regains its powers.
