Author Bio
Sally Grindley is the author of many best-selling titles including Why is the Sky Blue? (Andersen) and I Don't Want To (Methuen). Shhh! won the Children's Book Award and was shortlisted for the Smarties Book Prize - as was Peter's Place (both Andersen). Her titles for Kingfisher include the picture books What Are Friends For? What Will I Do Without You? and Will You Forgive Me? and in the I Am Reading series The Giant Postman and Captain Pepper's Pets. An accomplished anthologist, she has compiled four Stories for the Very Young collections for Kingfisher, as well as The Kingfisher Book of Magical Tales. She lives in Gloucestershire with her three sons. Siobhan Dodds has illustrated many picture books for children including Charles Tiger, Elizabeth Hen and Babies, Babies, Babies.
