Book Overview: NO HIDING PLACE, a deft mix of compelling story, distinctive narrative voice and full-bodied characterisation, once again proves Finder to be a master of the modern thriller. Finder has established an extremely successful reputation for writing novels about corporate intrigue. His previous novel, PARANOIA, was one the sensations of 2004. A movie of his earlier novel HIGH CRIMES, starring Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman, grossed $41 million for Fox. Paramount Pictures has bought rights to PARANOIA for a high-six figures for Lorenzo di Bonaventura to produce. Joseph Finder has received excellent reviews: 'PARANOIA combines a fresh voice, terrific characters, and high-octane suspense. Finder catapults himself into the front ranks of contemporary writers' Harlan Coben 'The corporate thriller of the year ... This pacy, gripping novel presents a devastating view of American business, with unscrupulous CEOs, devious managers and backstabbing colleagues ... It is compulsive reading and the end is stunning and absolutely unguessable' Sunday Telegraph.
