Jonathan Oates has been Borough Archivist and Local History Librarian at Ealing Central Library since 1999. He is the author of numerous books on London history, including Acton In Old Photographs and Southall & Hanwell History & Guide. He lives in Yiewsley, Middlesex. Paul Howard Lang has been a librarian at St Bernard's Hospital Library, Ealing, since 1982. He is a keen local historian and enthusiastic photographer. He lives in Epsom, Surrey.
