Author Bio
Geoff Body worked in the railway industry from 1945 to 1976 and has been writing on railways and canals ever since. He has written a great number of books and articles over the years, including Railway Oddities for The History Press, and his interests include music, modelling and local history. He lives in Weston-super-Mare. Bill Parker's 39-year railway career began at Doncaster in 1945 and progressed through to Divisional Manager at Kings Cross. Bill is also musical director for several operatic societies, a member of Cambridge Philharmonic Chorus, a church organist and a fell walker.
