John Sadden is an archivist who has worked in public libraries, specialist libraries, Highbury College, and the University of Portsmouth, while also working as a writer and indexer. He qualified as a chartered librarian while working at Petersfield Library, and has since worked at Fareham and Gosport Libraries, having responsibility for various local studies collections and also the Hampshire Naval Collection.
