David Harvey, who lives in Dudley, is a primarily a transport historian, but has extensive knowledge of the area in general. His previously published works include Smethwick, The Outer Circle: Birmingham's No. 11 Bus Route, and The Inner Circle: Birmingham's No. 8 Bus Route.
