Stephen Wade is a crime historian and true crime writer. He is a member of The Police History Society and The Crime Writers' Association in Britain and has published several works on true crime/crime history, including The Torso in the Tank, Foul Deeds and Suspicious Deaths in Bradford and The A-Z of Yorkshire Murder, He teaches a module in Crime, Law and Order at the University of Hull, and a course in Writing Crime at the University of Oxford, School of Continuing Education.
