Neat Vodka

Neat Vodka

by Anna Blundy (Author)

Synopsis

Faith Zanetti is addicted to danger. But hooked as she might be on alcohol, cigarettes and living life in the fast lane, she's also clever enough to know that at some point something's got to give. She's the Moscow correspondent of the moment - chosen for the job because, as a teenager, she married a Russian. Through the vodka haze it's a struggle to remember everything about those days, but Faith knows that a lot of it was bad. Now, fifteen years later, those days are back to get her. And when she is arrested for murder, Faith knows she's going to have to get the present in order. And the past too.

Media Reviews
'It's impossible not to fall for Faith Zanetti. She has a great sense of humour - and this is where journalist Anna Blundy really shines, because it requires nifty footwork on the part of a writer to produce a funny thriller without diluting the thrills and trivialising serious issues. Sharp and hilarious' - GUARDIAN 'Speaking of books, I read a great one. It's by a writer called Anna Blundy and it's about a detectivey journalist and it's set in Moscow and it totally captures Russia and is good fun and gripping and well-written and interesting and moving and I enjoyed it immensely. I would recommend it.' Marian Keyes ** 'She [Faith Zanetti] is the ultimate anti-heroine ...A witty page-turner which keeps you laughing, and guessing, right to the end' Sunday Express ** 'A funny, clever thriller' Literary Review ** 'Zanetti's got spunk ... Neat Vodka zips along' Time Out ** 'A caustic and truly gritty read' Irish Examiner ** 'Blundy knows her politics and writes at a cracking pace' John Lewis Magazine ** 'A rollicking good adventure ... It's as warming as a shot of Stolichnaya vodka' Newham Recorder ** 'Hold tight ? it's an exciting ride' First magazine
