Second Chance Tuesday

Second Chance Tuesday

by Lennox Morrison (Author)

Synopsis

Tuesday Donnelly's life hasn't worked out as she planned. Ten years ago she married an American oilman and moved to the States - falling out with her family in the process. Now, at 33, the bus driver's daughter from Govan is ready to admit she married Mr Wrong and has come home for a fresh start. Tuesday's sister Patsy is a self made businesswoman and avid social climber. She's made her way up from a Glasgow tenement to one of the best postcodes in the city...but she's struggling to get a wedding ring from her wealthy boyfriend before she turns 40. Meanwhile their widowed father Tommy, newly retired, has just been transplanted - by Patsy - from the tight knit community he's known all his life to a swish flat in the leafy West End. Already struggling with regrets about the past, now he's got posh new neighbours to contend with as well. At first Tommy and Patsy welcome Tuesday with open arms. But then, as sibling rivalry turns ugly, and Da continues to keep her at a distance, Tuesday realizes something is very wrong, and sets out to uncover the family mystery which has blighted her life.
