Synopsis

Paul Walters had followed his father's professional footsteps as a freelance 'fixer' for the CIA in Europe, so when his parents are assassinated in their own home he automatically turns to his contacts to try and trace the killer. His search leads him to Italy where a respected German academic appears to be the prime mover behind a fanatical scheme to bring peace to the world's warring nations and removing Paul's father was his opening shot. Paul gets wind of the man's plan to wreck an international summit due to be held in Berlin but unbeknownst to both men the Vice-President of the USA, in collusion with the Deputy Director of the CIA, have their own reason to disrupt the heavyweight meeting - killing the President! Unable to trust anyone, battling against both the power-hungry and a moral maniac, Paul has to rely on his own skills to prevent either side reaching their target...
