Author Bio
Andrew Robertshaw is an acclaimed World War I historian and was the lead historical consultant for Steven Spielberg's War Horse. He is heading up a major new archaeological project on Beaumont Hamel, as well as leading battlefield tours for the British Army. In 2012 he constructed a full-scale trench replica which is now a BBC filming location and educational facility. He is the author of Somme 1 July 1916: Tragedy and Triumph.
