Author Bio
Alison Plowden worked at the BBC as a script editor in Features and Drama until 1969, before leaving to work as a full-time writer. She has had 18 books published, specialising in the Tudor and Stuart periods, her most recent being 'Henrietta Maria' (published by Sutton).
