Author Bio
Dr Guido Knopp was born in 1948. After taking a degree in history he rose to become editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and later foreign editor of the Welt am Sonntag. Today he runs the Current Affairs department of ZDF, Germany's second national TV network. His books include German Unity (1990). The Damned War (1991), Hitler - An Assessment (1995), Hitler's Henchmen (Bertelsmann, 1996 and Sutton, 2000), Hitler's Warriors (1998) and Holocaust (2000).
