Author Bio
Jackie is currently an IT Trainer within the Education Department of her Local County Council (Vale of White Horse), and works as a volunteer for Age Concern teaching IT to older people. She writes a regular column, You Can Do IT, for the website www.laterlife.com and is on the Learn Direct National Tutor Database. She graduated in Zoology from Oxford University and spent most of her career in education, first working as an administrator with the CBI before moving into University careers work. After training as a teacher and carrying out educational research, she became an Adult Basic Skills and IT tutor and has worked in several different FE colleges teaching City & Guilds and OCR courses. She is ECDL qualified and has written two further IT books.
