Author Bio
Phil Jevon is a qualified RGN and Resuscitation Training Officer at Manor Hospital, Walsall. He runs and directs the Resuscitation Council (UK) Paediatric Life Support Course (PALS) as well as the Advanced Life Support Course (APLS) and the Paediatric Life Support Course (PLS). In total, he has run over 60courses in which doctors and nurses from all over the UK have taken part. Inaddition, he has designed and written a poster describing the recognition ofserious illness in children (published by Nursing Times) and designed the Walsall Resuscitation Chart, a nationally recognized chart used in A&E departments and paediatric wards around the UK.
For each of his books, Phil has recruited specialist expertise to provide additional credibility. This book is no exception, and Phil has involved a Consultant Paediatric Intensivist and a Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist.
