The author, Alex Woolf, is an experienced writer and editor of children's information books, specializing in history and current issues at secondary level. The consultant, Paul Wilkinson, is Professor of International Relations and Director of the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence at St Andrews University. He is also editor of the academic journal Terrorism and Political Violence.
