Toys and Games (Changes)

Toys and Games (Changes)

by Liz Gogerly (Author)

Synopsis

This book uses a variety of pictures (for example, photos, paintings, postcards and objects) to look at different types of toys and games in the past - from educational and outdoor games to dolls and teddy bears. It has pictures from the Victorian period to present day, so children can make comparisons between the toys they have today and those their parents and grandparents may have played with. Notes at the back for parents and teachers give some more information about the pictures and suggest questions that could be asked about them when reading the book together with the child.
