Dressing Up (Changes)

Dressing Up (Changes)

by Liz Gogerly (Author)

Synopsis

This book uses a variety of pictures, such as photographs, posters and objects, to look at different types of clothes people wore in the past. It has pictures from Victorian times to present day, so children can make comparisons between the clothes they wear now (from outdoor wear to underwear) and those their parents and grandparents would have worn as children. Notes at the back for parents and teachers give some more information about the pictures and suggest questions that could be asked about them when reading the book together with the child.
