Synopsis

Towards the end of the book it discusses Marconi's influence as an individual and a scientist on the wider world, giving the reader an insight into how he fits into the context of 20th Century history as a whole.

Dr Mike Goldsmith works at the UK's National Physical Laboratory. He has worked in a variety of scientific fields, including sound and space, and written several science books for children.
