Author Bio
The author Patricia Kendell writes material to help children understand why much wildlife is in danger and what they can do to help. She is also a part-time Education Officer with WWF-UK. The consultant Dr Holly Dublin is a Senior Conservation Adviser with WWF International's Africa & Madagascar Programme. Since 1992, she has served as the Chair of the Species Survival Commission's African Elephant Specialist Group. In recognition of her contributions to conservation efforts in Africa she was awarded the Officer of the Golden Ark in 1998.
