Author Bio
David Cumming was born and brought up in Assam in northern India and has been a frequent visitor to the country ever since. His extensive knowledge of India is reflected in the many children's books he has written. The consultant, Tony Binns, is Reader in Geography at the University of Sussex. He has a particular interest in Third World development issues and has been involved in geographical education for many years.
