  The Starting History series offers young readers an introduction to history and aims to meet the requirements of ATs 1, 3 and 4 of the National History Curriculum for Key Stage 1. Aided by historical and contemporary photographs, the series discusses how life in Britain has changed since 1930 and invites readers to make comparisons with their own experiences.
