Author Bio
Patrick Burke has a special interest in Central Europe, and has been visitng the area regularly since the early 1970s. A member of the nuclear disarmament and peace movements, he was involved with Eastern European peace campaigns, which opposed the communist regimes that toppled in 1989. He is a visiting lecturer in Politics at the University of Westminster and a freelance writer of children's books on contemporary affairs.
